Associate Account Director
Job Overview:
As an Associate Account Director, you will provide the client with analytical and sales power required to drive advertiser acquisition and overall business growth of your portfolio. You will collaborate closely with senior Helios team members, identify sales and business development opportunities, and share Helios’s client resources to internal teams. You will evangelize new Helios products and technologies throughout the agency, and develop and manage strong relationships with internal agency influencers and decision-makers, driving scalable product adoption and growth across the broader portfolio of accounts.
Moreover, you will develop the acquisition capabilities of your clients and agencies in order to accelerate business growth. Among your many attributes, you are persuasive, gregarious, a natural leader and skilled at solving problems and explaining complex issues. You possess excellent communication and presentation skills at the senior level, as well as the ability to work closely and constructively with all areas of the business. You're particularly adept at developing close, one-on-one relationships.
Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grows. Using your influential, relationship-building skills, you provide Helios-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, and persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Helios's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with your clients, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users. Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Mainly manage the client relationship with beauty/TR industry, maintaining close communication with relevant partners.
- Manage and coordinate day-to-day client interactions, including ongoing campaigns/initiatives within the agency and with external media/creative partners.
- Execute strategy, provide brand management, and maintain strong client satisfaction for assigned brands.
- Work closely with the team and specialists to create campaign/marketing strategies for new client briefs.
- Provide strategic recommendation that is integrated with data marketing solution to solve clients’ business challenges.
- Collaborate closely with the Director, identifying new opportunities for existing clients and recommending new media products and solutions to foster business growth.
- Ensure that team members understand and follow established agency account procedures, including but not limited to: account files, approval processes, and status reports.
- Manage the project process and cooperate with colleagues in China/Asia-Pacific/Globally to ensure project progress.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven excellent digital media planning skills and hands on experience planning consumer facing digital campaigns.
- With 4-5 years of digital media planning experience.
- Be passionate about performance driven advertising.
- Understand media trends. Keeping up to date with trends, both across the client vertical and also within digital media to ensure we are using the latest category insights and digital practices.
- High level of initiative and work well in a team environment.
- Extremely detail oriented with data and insights driven mindset.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English are a must.
