This role will be full time in office at our Santa Monica location.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 2 years of experience in human resources, administration, or operations roles.
- Experience in HR operations, including employee record management and onboarding processes.
- Familiarity with HR software and tools (HRIS)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and processing documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HR software.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR department, ensuring all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
- Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Handle HR-related documentation, including employment contracts, offer letters, and other essential paperwork.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including preparing onboarding materials, conducting orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Manage offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews, processing terminations, and ensuring the return of company assets.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information or directing them to the appropriate resources.
- Assist in organizing employee engagement initiatives, such as company events, training sessions, and wellness programs.
- Support HR projects, such as policy development, process improvement initiatives, and the implementation of new HR systems.
- Assist in conducting research and gathering data for various HR initiatives and reports.
- Assist in all office management related tasks including but not limited too, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and other common areas, ordering snacks and paper products, organizing team building events such as monthly company lunches and quarterly leadership meetings.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR processes and workflows.
